These delightful treats are crafted seasonally, especially during the festive seasons. My family looks forward to these cherished items that I have been baking for thirty years. They are traditional, reflecting my parents' combined heritage. These cookies, beloved in Eastern Europe, showcase a unique pastry that is neither a cookie nor a pie in texture but an exquisite blend of both.
Filled with apricot jam, pecans, currants, and a mix of sugars and cinnamon, they melt away and disappear enchantingly. Although they can be prepared with various jam fillings, apricot complements the other ingredients best.
These are only available on most Tuesdays in November/December and limited to 4 dozen available that day.
Important: When you schedule your timeslot and complete your purchase, please note that you are selecting to buy one dozen (12 in a pack). If you wish to order more than one dozen, make sure to book as many appointment slots as needed to correspond with your desired amount. For example: If you intend to buy TWO dozen, reserve TWO appointment slots and simply arrive at the latest booked appointment time. This allows us to manage production on any given day.
